ACC Football Schedule, Week 9: Florida State Vs. N.C. State, Miami Vs. Virginia, Clemson Vs. Boston College

The ACC's last remaining hope for national relevance travels to Raleigh for a tough Thursday night road game. The No. 16 Florida State Seminoles have the country's best pass rushes, leading the next-best team by five sacks. They'll need to keep it up in order to shut down N.C. State Wolfpack QB Russell Wilson. 

FSU has gone on a five-game tear since their befuddling blowout loss in Oklahoma, winning four of those games by three or more scores. After being held back by their defense last year, Jimbo Fisher's Noles have a top-15 D despite giving up 47 to the Sooners. This is all just so sudden. Remember last year's 49-44 NBA Jam loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets?

The 'Pack took a week off to think about what they'd done after losing to the East Carolina Pirates in overtime, a loss that put them at 1-2 since upsetting the Jackets in Atlanta. October struggles aside, the N.C. State passing attack is still in the nation's top ten.
