UGA Athletic Director Damon Evan Charged With DUI
University of Georgia's Athletic Director Damon Evans was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop Wednesday night along with a passenger.
Police pulled Evan's 2009 BMW over around 11:55 p.m. at Roswell Road and Chastain Drive.
Police say a field sobriety test was performed.
Evans was taken to the Atlanta Pre-trial Detention Center where Evans refused a breathalyzer test.
The president of UGA is expected to release a statement later Thursday.
