and that double was awesome. But what’s the historic relevance of the bat? It is because the NL broke the losing streak? I’ve never been to the HOF, so maybe I have miscontrued what’s on display there.

Again, don’t get me wrong. As a Braves fan, I’m glad McCann is getting this honor. I just don’t see why the HOF folks think people visiting the HOF in 20 years will care much about a 3 run double bat from the 7th inning of the 2010 All Star game.
