Around the perimeter of the Atlanta sports world.
In Madden 11's latest roster update, defensive end Kroy Biermann's laughable 70 rating has been raised to a still-amusing 75. In real life Biermann's in that weird zone where he's unknown by most football fans but slightly overrated by Falcons fans, but EA's being a little too cautious with that low rating.
Safety Thomas DeCoud has jumped from 79 to 81, leaving him a little closer to fellow safety Erik Coleman (84), who most Falcons observers agree isn't as good as DeCoud.
Tight end Tony Gonzalez slipped from a 98 to a 97.
Wide receiver Kerry Meier has also been placed on the virtual team's injured reserve.
