Georgia Tech At NC State: Jackets Look To Break 15-Game Road Losing Streak

Georgia Tech (11-16, 3-10) returns to action Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. when they face NC State (14-13, 4-9). The Jackets will be looking for their first road win of the season and will be trying to break a 15-game road losing streak.

The Jackets dropped a tough home loss to Virginia 62-56 in their last game on Wednesday. They led most of the way but gave up a 12-0 run late in the game to the Cavaliers and couldn't recover. Iman Shumpert had 12 points and Lance Storrs led the team with six rebounds. Daniel Miller had four blocks and has had nine total in his last two games.

NC State is 3-9 in its last 12 games.  They hosted in-state rival North Carolina on Wednesday and lost 75-63. They are led in scoring by Tracy Smith and C.J. Leslie who have put up 14.4 and 11.7 respectively.

This is the only meeting between the two teams this season. NC State holds a 50-36 lead in the all-time series, and is 8-1 against the Jackets at RBC Center.

The game tips-off at 2 p.m. It can be seen on the ACC Network and heard locally on 790 the Zone.
