WWE WrestleMania 27 is scheduled to take Atlanta's Georgia Dome on April 3 at 7 pm ET, headlined by a pair of big title matches and the returns of The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Triple H and The Undertaker are also returning from shorter layoffs, facing each other at WrestleMania for the first time in a decade.
Edge, The Miz, and Sheamus put title belts on the line, though most lapsed fans are just looking forward to seeing The Rock and Stone Cold back in the ring and hopefully on the mic for pretty much the entire show. How do we make that happen?
Rumors of Georgia's Bill Goldberg returning to WWE were shot down by the man himself a few months after Triple H and Shawn Michaels dismissed them while speaking with us. Fans of the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs will have to make do with being represented by Marietta's Cody Rhodes, son of that Dusty Rhodes, which doesn't sound all that bad to me.
On to the match card:
Title Matches
Edge (champion) vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship
The Miz (champion) vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship
Sheamus (champion) vs. Daniel Bryan for the United States Championship
Non-Title Matches
Triple H vs. The Undertaker, No-holds-barred
Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with guest referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
Kane, Big Show, Santino Marella, and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Corre
Snooki, Trish Stratus, and John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler and LayCool
