Former N.C. State Guard Ryan Harrow Transferring Has Georgia On His List

Former Marietta product and N.C. State point guard Ryan Harrow is transferring and Mark Fox's Georgia Bulldogs are on his list of potential destinations. New Wolfpack coach Mark Gottfried called the decision mutual and that they would release Harrow to any school he wished to attend outside of the ACC

"We wish him well and will do anything we can to assist him in this process," said Gottfried, who added that he would release Harrow to any school except one in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Harrow will have to sit out the 2011-12 season per transfer rules but that also happens to fit the situation at Georgia perfectly. The Bulldogs will have two players capable of handling the position next season in Gerald Robinson Jr and Dustin Ware but both players are seniors. Behind those two players, Georgia has question marks at the point guard position and Harrow could be the answer.

"I'm considering (Georgia). Yes sir," Harrow said during a phone interview. "I haven't really made any decisions on where I'm going to go yet, but Georgia is on my list."

Harrow played in 29 games for the Wolfpack while averaging 9.3 points and 3.3 assists per game last season.
