2011 NFL Draft, Rounds Four Through Seven: Best SEC And ACC Players Left

After a 2011 NFL Draft first round that was dominated by the SEC, second round owned by the ACC and third round that featured a healthy selection from both conferences, Saturday should see another load of Southeastern talent headed to the pros. The day kicks off at noon ET on ESPN and NFL Network.

Looking at Mocking The Draft's list of the best players available at each position heading into day three, we can see local talent in the top spots at quite a few position groups. Here are the top Southeastern players left, according to Jon Dove's list:

  1. Clint Boling, Georgia OG
  2. Quan Sturdivant, UNC LB
  3. DeMarcus Love, Arkansas OG
  4. Johnny White, UNC RB
  5. Chris Hairston, Clemson OT
  6. Derrick Locke, Kentucky RB
  7. Luke Stocker, Tennessee TE
  8. Kendric Burney, UNC CB
  9. DeAndre McDaniels, Clemson S
  10. David Mims, Virginia Union OT
CBS Sports' Rob Rang also has a list of the best players left at each position. It shows Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor, Alabama QB Greg McElroy, Tennessee RB Denarius Moore, Arkansas TE D.J. Williams, Auburn OT Lee Ziemba, Mississippi State DE Pernell McPhee, Ole Miss DT Jerrell Powe, Miami LB Colin McCarthy, Mississippi State LB K.J. Wright, UNC S Da'Norris Searcy, Florida S Ahmad Black, and Florida P Chas Henry among the best three or four best players at their respective positions.
