Darrin Walls won't be the only undrafted free agent cornerback the Atlanta Falcons pick up, according to Kent State's athletic department. The school announced Kirk Belgrave is headed for Atlanta. Belgrave has an injury history, undergoing shoulder surgery before missing the 2009 season and having to sit out games in 2010. He's been timed at 4.45 in the 40-yard dash and has decent size for a cornerback, but we'll have to hope he can stay healthy.
Shane P. Hallam of Draft Countdown reports Oregon Ducks WR D.J. Davis will also make a Falcons camp appearance. This guy sounds like a Falcon to me -- he was given a teamwork award by his teammates and is called the team's "best downfield blocker" -- but there's a long, long list of wide receivers ahead of him, including 2010 camp standout Brandyn Harvey. Davis is tough, strong and has a 31-inch vertical, but doesn't have great top speed.
Rhode Island LB Matt Hansen also confirms his Falcons status. The Falcons were one of four teams to attend his school's pro day. It's kind of tough to find stats for FCS players, but he did pull down three interceptions in one year once.
