Latest Falcons Free Agent Signings: Kiante Tripp, Matt Murphy, Paul Fenaroli, Andrew Schulze

The Atlanta Falcon continue to add depth along both lines as the undrafted free agent period moves along. First up, the most locally relevant: Georgia Bulldogs DT Kiante Tripp has gotten the call-up, according to Marc Weiszer and others. Atlanta native Tripp is a college graduate, something the Falcons love. He made three career starts, all as a sophomore. The highlight of his college career may have been sacking Cam Newton.

UNLV tackle Matt Murphy was apparently a highly sought prize, and it looks like the Falcons have sealed the deal. Brad Biggs reports the signing, and Aaron Wilson reported Murphy had about 15 offers. Murphy was a four-year starter, which is impressive at pretty much any position but especially offensive tackle. Phil Steele once ranked him the nation's No. 42 at his position. He worked out for a number of teams before the draft, being called a "sleeper prospect."

Scott Dochterman reported Iowa long snapper Andrew Schulze, so maybe Tom McCarthy isn't being on to long snap after all.

Stony Brook center Paul Fenaroli has been rumored for a couple hours now, with the school confirming just after lunchtime. He put up 34 225-pound bench press reps at Fordham's pro day, where the Falcons also observed new LB Matt Hansen. He looks like a total pain to play against.
