Recent trends for both teams have Clemson going under in four of their last six games. As for LSU, they are 3-6 against the spread in their last nine games. The two teams have faced each other only two other times with LSU winning both contests. The last time these two teams played was the 1996 Peach Bowl when LSU beat Clemson, 10-7.

The Chick-fil-A Bowl will take place on New Year's Eve at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
