2012 SEC Football Standings: Logjam atop East division includes Georgia, Florida

With three teams at 3-0 in SEC play, the SEC East race is already among the nation's best.

After an exciting weekend of SEC action, a bevy of teams remain undefeated in the conference, as the SEC schedule heats up and the calendar turns from September to October.

The Georgia Bulldogs share the East division lead with the South Carolina Gamecocks and Florida Gators to comprise a trio of squads ranked among the nation's best that will all fight for one spot in the SEC Championship Game at season's end.

Things are just as tight in the West division, as the LSU Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide and Mississippi State Bulldogs are all undefeated in early action. No team in the West has played as many games as any of the Gamecocks, Gators or Bulldogs have, but remain locked in just as tight of a battle.
