The Atlanta Falcons took a three-game lead in the NFC South after their win against the Carolina Panthers. Where do the rest of the NFC South teams stand?

The Atlanta Falcons took a three-game lead in the NFC South after their 30-28 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Falcons are 4-0 entering next Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

With the loss, the Panthers fell to 1-3 on the season and 1-2 within the NFC South. The Panthers next game will be at home against the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost their third straight game, 24-22, against the Redskins, They also stand at 1-3, all games against NFC opponents. The Buccaneers will next play the Kansas City Chiefs after their bye week in Week 5.

The New Orleans Saints dropped to 0-4 on the season with a 28-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Three of those four losses have come against NFC opponents. The Saints' next opportunity to win their first game of the season will be Sunday night, hosting the San Diego Chargers.

1. Atlanta Falcons, 4-0

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1-3, (1-0 NFC South)

3. Carolina Panthers, 1-3, (1-2)
