Georgia Vs. Florida Score: Bulldogs extend lead to 10-6 after 3rd quarter

With control of the SEC East on the line, the No. 10 Georiga Bulldogs were able to extend their lead over the undefeated No. 2 Florida Gators to 10-6 after the third quarter of play at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla..

The third quarter continued the tale of the first half, as only 3 points were scored and each team's defensive unit continued to play dominant football. But it was the Bulldogs who completely dominated in the quarter, holding the Gators scoreless and forcing them into two more turnovers in the game as the Bulldogs' defense continued to roll.

Fortunately for the Bulldogs, they were able to expand their 1-point lead after kicker Marshall Morgan's field goal attempt from 29 yards out was good.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they were unable to expand their lead to 7 points, as Morgan later was wide left and missed on a field goal from 37 yards out.

The Bulldogs will open the fourth quarter with a 4-point lead and a chance to control their own destiny in the SEC East, but will first need to close out the quarter by holding off the Gators.
