The freshman would be the first of the 2012 signing class to earn a start for the Yellow Jackets.

Georgia Tech freshman wide receiver Anthony Autry has earned a bump up the roster, and will start Saturday alongside Jeff Greene when the Yellow Jackets face Clemson. Head coach Paul Johnson said in a news conference that Autry earned the start after his work in the loss to MTSU.

"The most impressive thing to me about Anthony is when he’s gone in there, he’s flown around, he’s played really hard,. I don’t think he’s afraid of the moment."

The AJC also notes that Autry would be the first Yellow Jacket from the 2012 signing class to make a start, and only one of a handful that have played, including defensive lineman Adam Gotsis, punter Ryan Rodwell and cornerback D.J. White.

Autry only had one catch for 19 yards in the game, but has been commended for his physical run blocking and his speed, the former of which is crucial in Johnson's triple option offense.
