Georgia vs. South Carolina 2012: Dawg Sports reacts to Saturday's blowout

Stay connected for news and updates

The South Carolina Gamecocks beat the pants off the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, in a bit-of-a-shocking 35-7 defeat. These were teams that were evenly matched for the most part on paper, but since the games are played on the field, fans learned differently.

Even at SB Nation's Georgia blog, Dawg Sports, DavetheDawg is asking whether the game would've swung in another direction with an early Bacarri Rambo interception instead of the Gamecocks cashing in on a 50-yard completion that set the tone of the game. Thing is, the Dawgs were beaten down, hardly competitive in this one. So it's hard to pinpoint one particular play and say it could've dramatically changed things for the Dawgs.

Still, especially if you're a UGA fan, read Dave's 15 thoughts after the game. He's upset about the loss, understandably. And he's got 15 points to make about it. Certainly worth the read.
