The Atlanta Hawks open a four-game road trip on the west coast Sunday when they take on Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Coming off a loss to the Miami Heat, the Atlanta Hawks head out on the road and open a four-game west coast swing with a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Hawks are 2-2 after Friday's 95-89 loss to the Miami Heat.
Jeff Teague led Atlanta Friday night with 20 points and 11 assists. He will be matched up against one of the best point guards in the NBA on Sunday in Chris Paul. The Clippers improved to 4-2 on the season Thursday with a 103-90 win over Portland. Paul finished with 21 points and six assists in the victory.
Atlanta is going to need a much better effort out of Josh Smith who hit just 6-19 shots and finished with 13 points against the Heat. Smith is two games back from an ankle injury and still isn't 100 percent.
Former Sixth Man of the Year and Atlanta Hawks guard Jamal Crawford is currently leading the Clippers in scoring averaging 21.8 points per game. Crawford led LA with 25 points in Thursday's win over the Trail Blazers.
