After winning last weekend's Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway, Jimmie Johnson showed the racing world that he is hungry for a 6th Sprint Cup title. Johnson continues to be on a roll as the 5-time Sprint Cup champion wins the pole for Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Joining Johnson alongside the front row will be Greg Biffle. Kyle Busch will start third. Clint Bowyer will start fourth, and Martin Truex Jr rounds out the top-5. Brad Keseloweski, who is only two points behind the leader Johnson, starts eighth.

Dale Earnhardt Jr will start 19th.

Kelly Bires, Stephen Leicht, and David Stremme were the drivers who were sent packing after qualifying.
