Georgia Tech's embattled defense could take another hit as Jeremiah Attaochu will try to play despite battling the flu.

Georgia Tech is already down Orwin Smith today against the Bulldogs but it appears that Jeremiah Attaochu will try to give it a go despite battling a flu bug.

Attaochu has 44 tackles and seven sacks on the season in 10 games for the Yellow Jackets this season. Paul Johnson indicated early in the week that several of his players had been hit with the flu bug but he was hopeful that it wouldn't linger into the weekend.

Attaochu is one of the Yellow Jackets key defenders and was credited three tackles and a sack in last season's meeting against the Bulldogs. In his career, Attaochu has played in 33 games for the Yellow Jackets and has 111 tackles to go along with 16 sacks.
