Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Peria Jerry has suffered a knee injury in the Falcons' Sunday night meeting with the Dallas Cowboys and will not return to action against Dallas.
The three-year NFL veteran out of Ole Miss has recorded six tackles in 2012, four of which were unassisted. Jerry has also recorded a stuff on the season.
In the Cowboys' game against the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend, Jerry was held without a tackle, but had recorded a tackle in each of the four games before that, including two tackles against the Oakland Raiders.
For his career, Jerry has recorded 26 tackles and forced a fumble. He has also recorded two sacks for his career, although he has yet to collect one this season.
