The Hawks will take on the North Dakota St. Bison this Friday in the FCS semifinals.
After Saturday, we'll know who will be playing for the FCS national championship in Frisco, TX on Jan. 5. On Friday, the Georgia Southern Eagles travel north to take on the No. 1 overall seed North Dakota St. Bison at the Fargodome. It took a miraculous come-from-behind victory with 28 fourth-quarter points over the Old Dominion Monarchs just to get to the national semifinals to face the Bison.
The winner of this game will take on the winner of the Sam Houston St. Bearkats game against the No. 2 overall seeded Eastern Washington Eagles in Cheney, WA. Both teams played a low-scoring game and high-scoring game in earlier rounds, so they can move at any pace.
