Alabama State vs. Georgia Tech final score: Yellow Jackets sting Hornets, 75-41

Georgia Tech jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead over Alabama State, and the Yellow Jackets never looked back.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets eased past the Alabama State Hornets on Monday night, building a 20-point halftime lead en route to a 75-41 victory at Hank McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.

It was the third straight win overall and seventh straight at home for the Yellow Jackets (7-2) this season. Four Tech players scored in double-figures, with Brandon Reed's 14 points leading the way. Robert Carter compiled a double-double, contributing 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Mfon Udofia added 12 points, four assists and two rebounds. Kammeon Holsey pitched in 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal.

No player scored more than seven points for the Hornets (1-9), who have lost two in a row since picking up their lone win this year. Jamel Waters had seven points, four assists, two rebounds and one steal, and Bobby Brown added seven points, two rebounds and two steals.

Next up for Tech is a home game against The Citadel.
