Uzzi was the only Yellow Jacket on the first ever coaches All-ACC team.

In the first edition of a coaches vote on an All-ACC team, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets guard Omoregie Uzzi was the lone member of his squad to appear on the first team. Uzzi was also voted to the first team in the media poll. The redshirt senior from Lithonia, Georgia received 14 points in the voting. Uzzi's point total was tied for the second lowest on the offensive line behind Clemson Tigers center Dalton Freeman and North Carolina Tar Heels guard Jonathan Cooper who picked up 21 points.

Five other Yellow Jacket players earned a spot on the honorable mention list. A-Back Orwin Smith, linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu, center Jay Finch, nose tackle T.J. Barnes and defensive back Jamal Golden were all named to the honorable mention list.

All 12 ACC coaches voted for two players at each position with the first place player receiving two points and the second getting one point. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd was named the ACC Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year by the coaches. Florida State Seminoles defensive end Bjoern Werner was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.
