The Georgia State Panthers and the Mercer Bears tip off their second round CIT match-up at 4 p.m. Saturday at the University Center in Macon.
The match-ups for the second round of the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament have been set and include some high quality match-ups between the best mid-major programs in the country. One of those is the showdown between the Georgia State Panthers and the Mercer Bears, which tips off at 4 p.m. at the University Center in Macon.
Georgia State advanced to the second round by defeating Tennessee Tech 74-43 behind Devonta White's 24 points. Mercer defeated Tennessee State 68-60 behind Justin Cecil's 19 points. With their 23rd win, Mercer tied a program record for wins in a season and recorded their first postseason win in the 110-year history of the program.
