The Kentucky Wildcats will take on Iowa State in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Kentucky handled Western Kentucky 81-66 in their first game with Terrance Jones leading the way with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Anthony Davis had another stellar game finishing with 16 points, nine rebounds and seven blocked shots.

Iowa State knocked off Connecticut in their first game 77-64. Chris Allen led the Cyclones with 20 points while Royce White added 15 points and 13 rebounds. Iowa State is 23-10 on the season and no stranger to upsets having defeated then No. 5 Kansas during the regular season.
