One wouldn't think that a in-your-face, face-paced tempo would be the way to attack No. 1-seeded Kentucky Wildcats, but that's just what the No. 4 Indiana Hoosiers are doing, as they've trail 50-47 at halftime in a NCAA Tournament, Sweet 16 contest in Atlanta, Ga.
Junior forward Christian Watford as tallied a team-high 17 points and has sparked a Indiana offense that's shooting 60-percent from the field. Meanwhile, the Wildcats haven't been able to match that clip shooting, but has survived because of Terrence Jones' 12 points and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's 11.
The game began at a frantic pace, as Kentucky jumped out to a 16-11 lead less than five minutes in. The Wildcats led by nine, 31-22, with 9:58 to play, but Indiana turned up the defense and offense to spark tie the game at 37 with 5:04 to play.
The Hoosiers did take a four point lead, however, Kentucky ended the half on a 11-4 run.
