North Carolina Vs. Maryland Update: UNC Tar Heels Lead Terrapins At Halftime, 36-26

The Atlantic Coast Conference's top-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels have jumped out to a 10-point halftime lead over the Maryland Terrapins at Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Despite John Henson going down with a re-aggravated left wrist injury in the first half, the Tar Heels are led by Tyler Zeller who has 10 points at halftime, while Harrison Barnes has seven points.

North Carolina out-rebounded Maryland in the first half, 15-10, with Zeller leading the way with five boards. Barnes and Henson have each grabbed three rebounds.

For the Terrapins, Terrell Stoglin scored 13 first-half points, but cooled down towards the end of the period. The Tar Heels are shooting 37.5 percent from the field, while Maryland seems to be struggling, shooting only 28.6 percent from the field.

Henson is expected to receive x-rays on his left wrist, even though ESPN reported the wrist is not suspected to be broken.
