Bobby Petrino ruined his reputation in Atlanta when he left a letter and bailed on the struggling Falcons right after he pledged his commitment to owner Arthur Blank. He jumped ship to head to Arkansas where he is the head coach of the Razorbacks, but after a recent scandal in which Petrino was involved in a motorcycle wreck with 25-year-old Jessica Dorrell. Petrino is believed to be involved in an "inappropriate relationship" with Dorrell and he was placed on administrative leave while the school decides what to do.
SB Nation's Spencer Hall believes that Petrino is finished with the Razorbacks and it's only a matter of time until he's fired.
Falcons fans would likely be more than happy to see Petrino run out of Arkansas after a scandal like this. Former Falcons defensive coordinator and current Bengals coordinator Mike Zimmer didn't have many very nice things to say about Petrino when he was asked about him a while back.
From Pro Football Talk:
"[Petrino] is a coward. Put that in quotes. He ruined a bunch of people's lives, a bunch of people's families, kids, because he didn't have enough nuts to stay there and finish the job. That's the truth."
It seems to be only a matter of time before Falcons fans can begin saying "what goes around comes around" in reference to their one-time head coach.
