Georgia enters the 2012 SEC tournament as the No. 8 seed and opens up against No. 5 seed Vanderbilt.
The SEC baseball regular season has come to an end and now it is time for the post season conference tournament. LSU won the SEC West with an 18-11 record while South Carolina won the East witha an 18-10 record and edged out both Kentucky and Florida by a half-game.
The tournament begins on Tuesday May 22 in Hoover, Ala., but by winning the divisions both LSU and South Carolina earned a bye and will begin play on May 23.
Georgia finished the season with a 14-14 conference record and earned the No. 8 seed and will take on No. 5 seed Vanderbilt, and the two will face off in the final game on May 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
