The Georgia Bulldogs appear to be College World Series-bound, although the final brackets and selections have yet to be determined. Still, UGA is expected to be part of the initial 64-team bracket in the 2012 NCAA college baseball tournament. They may be heading West to kick things off.

Kendall Rogers at Perfect Game has posted the PG projections of the 64 teams in the 2012 NCAA field for the road to Omaha.

The Georgia Bulldogs are expected to be the No. 3 seed in the four-team Los Angeles Regional division, which would be hosted by the UCLA Bruins. The Bruins would be expected to face Manhattan in the opening round, while UGA would take on the No. 2 seed Pepperdine Waves.

The Bruins, a perennial baseball powerhouse, would enter that group as the only nationally-ranked team out of the four schools.
