2012 SEC Baseball Tournament: Mississippi State Defeats LSU, 4-3

The Mississippi State Bulldogs took down the LSU Tigers this afternoon by a final score of 4-3.

For the Bulldogs, Adam Frazier led the way with three hits and one RBI in the ballgame while Luis Pollorena, Hunter Renfroe and Matthew Britton each had an RBI in the ballgame. Jacob Lindgren got the start and went four and two third innings and giving up five hits and three earned runs while walking two batters and striking out three.

On the Tigers side, Ty Ross knocked in two RBI's and Austin Nola contributed one RBI to the LSU cause as well. The Tigers were up 3-1 going into the ninth inning when pitcher Nick Goody entered the game and promptly gave up the four hits and three RBI's that ultimately won the game in extra innings.
