2012 College Baseball: UGA Opens Three Game Set With Auburn On Friday

Georgia Baseball opens a three game series with Auburn Friday night at Foley Field.

Georgia opens a three game series with Auburn on Friday night at Foley Field. As the SEC season starts to wind down every series becomes more critical for the Bulldogs as they try to position themselves most favorably for the SEC Tournament. Currently the Bulldogs are 25-20 on the season and 9-12 in conference play.

Auburn enters the series with a 25-19 mark and are 10-11 in conference play. The Bulldogs will stick to their rotation for this weekend with Alex Wood (5-1, 2.69 ERA) getting the nod on Friday. Michael Palazzone (2-5, 5.40 ERA) will follow on Saturday and Luke Crumley (1-2, 4.44 ERA) will follow on Sunday.

Game 2 - Saturday, May 5, 4:06 p.m. ET

Game 3 - Sunday, May 6, 2 p.m. ET
