Fans looking to catch the race live better make sure they are at their television sets by post time, otherwise they will risk missing the Fastest Two Minutes in Sports.

Post time is scheduled for 6:24 p.m. ET. Televised coverage of the race can be found on NBC beginning at 4 p.m. with an all-access look at the Kentucky Derby, as well as a red carpet special. Coverage of the race should begin around 6 p.m., with post time at 6:24. NBC will, as always, hold a post-race ceremony crowning the champion, which will last until 7 on NBC, and then a recap show will air between 7 and 8 on NBC Sports Network.

Thanks to heavy betting this past week (shocking, I know), the odds have changed. Once a 4/1 favorite to win the 138th Kentucky Derby, Bodemeister is now at 8/1 -- still very good odds, but no longer the best. Union Rags is the new favorite, listed at 6/1 odds. Take Charge Indy, Gemologist and Bodemeister are all at 8/1.
