Georgia's three-game sweep over Auburn this past weekend has shored up the Bulldogs standings and puts them just a little closer to nailing down a spot in the SEC Conference Tournament to be played in Hoover, Alabama in late May.
South Carolina takes over the top spot in the SEC East and opens a three-game set with the Bulldogs on Friday in Athens. Kentucky and Florida are both still right there in the middle of things and the time is now for Georgia who simply can't afford a series loss to the Gamecocks this weekend and remain in the divisional race.
