2012 ACC Softball Tournament Bracket, Time, TV Info And More

The 2012 ACC Softball Tournament gets underway on Thursday from Anderson Stadium in Chapel Hill.

The 2012 ACC Conference Softball Tournament gets underway on Thursday, May 10 at Anderson Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The tournament is a three-day affair involving the top eight teams in the conference. North Carolina enters the tournament as the top seed and will take on Boston College on Thursday.

Georgia Tech is the third seed in the tournament and will be paired with Virginia in the first game of the tournament. The Yellow Jackets saw their streak of three-straight regular season championships come to an end but is looking for its fifth conference title in school history.

Here is a look at the full schedule for the 2012 ACC Softball Tournament:

Thursday, May 10

Game 1: #3 Georgia Tech vs. #6 Virginia, Noon, FS South/ESPN3

Game 2: #2 Florida State vs. #7 NC State, 2:30 p.m., FS South/ESPN3

Game 3: #1 North Carolina vs. #8 Boston College, 5 p.m., ESPN3

Game 4: #4 Virginia Tech vs. #5 Maryland, 7:30 p.m., ESPN3

Friday, May 11

Game 5: Game 1 Winner vs. Game 2 Winner, 1 p.m., FS South, ESPN3

Game 6: Game 3 Winner vs. Game 4 Winner, 3:30 p.m. FS South, ESPN3

Saturday, May 12

Championship Game: Game 5 Winner vs. Game 6 Winner, 4 p.m., ESPN
