The Atlanta Dream take on the Tamika Catchings led Indiana Fever, looking for their first set of consecutive wins this season.
For the first time all season, the Atlanta Dream are trying to stream together consecutive victories when they host the Indiana Fever. In their 12 games thus far, it's mainly been a lot of back and forth for the team. That won't be enough for Atlanta to contend in the Eastern Conference.
Atlanta rebounded from two straight losses with a 74-64 victory Sunday on the road against the New York Liberty, outscoring them 25-10 in the third quarter.
The Fever come in as a sound ball club, giving up the second fewest turnovers in the league at 14.7 a game. Indiana is coming off a 73-70 victory over the Tulsa Shock in their last game. Tamika Catchings is still the leader of the Indiana group, as she led the way with 16 points against the Shock.
Catchings, the reigning MVP, is averaging 18.8 points and 7.3 rebounds this season, no doubt to be a handful for the Dream.
The game is scheduled for noon ET.
