Angel McCoughtry scored 22 points as the Atlanta Dream won consecutive games for the first time this season with a 70-58 in over the Indiana Fever.
McCoughtry was scoreless after one quarter, and the Dream trailed 18-12. But she scored 18 in the second and third quarters and Atlanta used a 25-8 edge in the second quarter to take a lead and hold on. Indiana went 1-for-15 from the field in the second quarter.
The rare noon start seemed to affect both teams. Atlanta shot 24-for-63 (38.1 percent) from the floor and went 19-for-28 from the free-throw line. Indiana shot 19-for-62 (30.6 percent) from the field. Atlanta outrebounded the Fever 41-29, while Indiana also had 19 turnovers.
Indiana had won the previous two meetings between the teams this season.
