Atlanta Left Out Of Opening Ceremony Montage At 2012 Olympics

Stay connected for news and updates

If you tuned into last night's opening ceremony from the 2012 London Olympics you might have noticed that the program began with a montage of previous posters of host cities that have hosted the games. If you looked closely you noticed that Atlanta the 1996 host and Los Angeles the 1984 host weren't included in the montage. In case you missed it have a look for yourself.

Perhaps it was a slight for time constraints or perhaps there were other reasons that might have caused Atlanta to be left off. There is also a chance that another tip of the hat was sent Atlanta's way during the Opening Ceremonies but if that was the case I certainly didn't catch it.
