The Paul Maholm trade hasn't bore fruit for the Braves, but it's still early. The former Cub, who had gone 5-0 with a 1.00 ERA in his last seven on the North side, gave up two homers in a loss to the Astros last weekend. He'll get his second start as a Brave on Friday and against the skidding Mets, who snapped a nine-game home losing streak by beating the Marlins on Thursday night. Maholm is 0-2 in his career at Citi Field, with a staggering 8.80 ERA.
