Atlanta Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez announced Monday that the team is going to use a six-man pitching rotation beginning Friday, and will stick with it until the end of August. At that point, they'll pick their best five and revert back to the standard rotation size.
Fredi said they'll go thru 6-man rotation twice, then after off day Aug. 30 back to 5-man - best five, healthiest five, Fredi said.— David O'Brien (@ajcbraves) August 13, 2012

The Braves begin a series with the Padres on Monday night.
