Braves Vs. Padres: Tarp Off, Approximate Start Time 7:35

Though Mother Nature did her best to spoil Monday night's series opener between the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres, it looks like the game will be played.

Per the Atlanta Braves' official Twitter account, the tarp has been taken off the field, and the game is scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m. ET.

In the meantime, Braves fans can pay attention to the Pittsburgh Pirates / Los Angeles Dodgers games, as both teams are in the National League Wild Card hunt. The St. Louis Cardinals are off tonight, and the NL East division leading Washington Nationals will not get underway in San Francisco until 10:15 p.m. ET.

When 7:35 does come around, Mike Minor will face off against San Diego's rather paltry lineup.
