2013 UGA Football Recruiting: Shaquille Fluker Commits To Dawgs

Shaquille Fluker has become the Bulldogs' second commitment to the football program in as many days, with Georgia's defensive back total for the class of 2013 coming out to eight now. Paris Bostick of Tampa made his commitment to the Dawgs on Monday.

Fluker announced his decision on Tuesday, according to Dawgs247.com. He's the 26th commitment for the 2013 class.

With both starting safeties and two of the top cornerbacks for the Dawgs set to be done after the 2012 season, upgrading the secondary is going to be a serious need for Georgia. So it's understandable that they want to provide depth for the future.

Fluker comes from East Mississippi Community College and would have two years of eligibility, as well as one redshirt year available. He's also planning to help the Dawgs out by enrolling at the university in January, which helps because UGA is looking to sign up to 34 players this year. It can only do that as long as nine players enroll early, according to SEC signing rules.
