Stay connected for news and updates

NASCAR at Michigan race day is Sunday, and all of your schedules and broadcast information are right here. After Kid Rock gives the command for racers to fire up their engines, the action is set to begin just after 1 p.m. ET. The race is the Pure Michigan 400, and it's a fairly simple concept: 200 laps around Michigan's two-mile oval for a total of 400 miles. Country music singer Steve Azar will sing the National Anthem.

The last time NASCAR was at Michigan, Dale Earnhardt Jr. snapped a four-year winless streak and went to Victory Lane in dominating fashion. Here's a look at the schedule:

Date/Time: Sunday, Aug. 19, 1:16 p.m. ET

Location: Michigan International Speedway

TV/Radio: ESPN and area radio affiliates

Online streaming: NASCAR.com
