NASCAR At Michigan: Crash By Kurt Busch Eliminates Fuel Strategy

An accident by Kurt Busch on lap 135 has drawn the caution flag at the Michigan International Speedway. The yellow flag now ensures that all the cars can make it to the checkered flag with one remaining pit stop. Previously, it appeared that only Brad Keselowski would be certain to make it to the end, with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson right on the edge.

Now, with Busch drawing the yellow, everyone is within the window to make only one more pit stop the remainder of the afternoon.

At the yellow, Greg Biffle led the way as he seeks Roush-Fenway Racing's 12th win at Michigan. A triumph by Biffle, Matt Kenseth, or Carl Edwards would break the team's tie with the Wood Brothers for the most victories at MIS.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. assumed the lead by not pitting under the Busch caution and is shown in first ahead of Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Keselowski, and Marcos Ambrose.
