Aaron Murray Named Offensive Captain

According to Joey Johnston of the Tampa Tribune, the Georgia Bulldogs have named quarterback Aaron Murray as the team's offensive captain for the team's Sept. 1 opener against Buffalo:

Murray took over the starting quarterback job as a redshirt freshman in 2010 and in two season's as the team's starter, the 6-foot-1 junior has amassed 6,198 yards through the air with 59 touchdowns and 22 interceptions with 14 of those coming in his first season under center.

With Murray at the helm, he has led the Bulldogs to two postseason bowl appearances.
