Braves Vs. Padres Preview: TV Time, Radio, Probable Starters And More

The Braves will look to extend their lead in the NL wild-card race with a win Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. They currently lead the Cardinals by 2.5 games.

The first two games of the series have been low scoring affairs-- 3-0 on Monday and 2-0 on Tuesday--- so the Braves will look to Tommy Hanson for a dominant outing.

The big righty has struggled all season, posting a career-high 4.40 ERA. But a trip to Petco Park may be exactly what Hanson needs to get his season on track. The Padres are hitting only .241 as a team, good for sixth worst in the MLB.

The Padres send Eric Stults to the hill, in hopes that he can continue his hot season. Stults has moved between the bullpen and the starting rotation all season, maintaining a 2.69 ERA.

Wednesday's game will begin at 6:35 p.m. ET, and can be found on SPSO and WCNN.
