Defensive tackle Jay Ellison has named Georgia Tech among his group of finalists. Ellison, a four-star prospect out of Harris County High School, also lists Auburn, South Carolina, and Ole Miss in his final group. “I have a real good feeling about Georgia Tech," Ellison told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I like the coaches, and the atmosphere is great.”
In-state rival Georgia has yet to make an offer to Ellison, but the Bulldogs haven't ruled out that possibility. Ellison could play on either side of the ball, but seems to prefer defense. “I really want to play defensive line, but I will play offensive line, too,” he said. “Then again, I’d really like to stay on the defensive side of the ball.”
Georgia Tech currently has 13 commitments for its 2013 class. They have one defensive tackle in the fold already: Darius Commissiong, a three-star prospect out of Bishop McNamara high school in Forestville, Maryland.
