After a disappointing loss on Tuesday, the Atlanta Dream bounced back with a 82-59 win over the Washington Mystics. The win is the first for Fred Williams as the team's head coach and evens their record at 13-13. Atlanta played its second straight game without Angel McCoughtry who remains suspended despite meeting with Williams on Wednesday.

Atlanta struggled offensively in the early going and saw the Mystics take a 33-31 lead into halftime. However, the Dream would find their offensive rhythm in the third quarter forcing Washington into turnovers which ignited their transition game. Atlanta outscored Washington 26-15 in the third quarter and 51-26 in the second half to cruise home to the victory.

Erika de Souza led the way for the Dream finishing with a double-double 21 points and 10 rebounds. Lindsey Harding added 16 points, five assists and three steals while rookie Tiffany Hayes added 15 points. Sancho Lyttle added 11 points, nine boards and four assists. Monique Currie led the Mystics with 14 points while Crystal Langhorne added 13. Washington turned the ball over 20 times which led to 19 points for the Dream.

Atlanta is back in action on Sunday when they host the Connecticut Sun.
