London Olympics 2012: Team USA Women's Basketball Team Demolishes Canada, 91-48

Atlanta native Maya Moore and Dream star Angel McCoughtry each scored 11 points in Team USA's convincing 91-48 victory against Canada on Tuesday morning.

The Canadians never stood a chance in this one. Team USA got out to an early 19-8 advantage after the first quarter and took a 42-21 lead into halftime. The second half was more of the same with USA dominance.

Diana Taurasi led all scorers with 15 points, while Sylvia Fowles and Candace Parker each contributed 12.

For Canada, Kim Smith was the top scorer with 13 points, while Chelsea Aubry was the only other Canadian to reach double figures with 10. Canada recorded 26 team turnovers compared to USA's 10.
