Virginia Vs. Georgia Tech: Offensive Line Changes For The Yellow Jackets

Stay connected for news and updates

Even with wins in their first two games, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are making some changes to their offensive line. Specifically, the team will be moving around its protection up front, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Guard Will Jackson is shifting to right tackle. Omoregie Uzzi and Shaquille Mason will play the guard positions, while Ray Beno will flip from right tackle to left tackle. The odd man out is Bryan Chamberlain, who started at left tackle against Presbyterian.

"It’s kind of a situation where we’re working to try to get our five best guys there and get some depth," coach Paul Johnson said.

An offensive tackle in high school, Jackson has some experience at his new position. If he struggles, Chamberlain could be rotated into the lineup.
